A calm community layer
MyCollectory has community features, but they are not the main event. Members can create public collections, share lists, follow profiles and see what others are collecting. These features are there to support collecting, not to turn the platform into another social race.
Your collection does not need to become a performance, your taste does not need to become a leaderboard, and your activity is not sold as engagement. The community layer is quiet, useful and optional.

The catalog uses structured entertainment data from trusted external sources, including The Movie Database for movies, series and documentaries, and IGDB for games. Trailers and selected video content may be embedded from YouTube where available.
Your personal activity, including your profile, lists, ratings, watch history and saved titles, stays part of your MyCollectory account. It is not sold to advertisers or sent back to the catalog providers.

MyCollectory stands on its own as a personal media collection platform. It is not a review site, not a streaming guide and not a social feed. Why MyCollectory exists
MyCollectory was founded by Michael Braam. The idea started from a simple frustration: there are countless places to watch, stream, rate and discuss entertainment, but very few that help you build a calm, personal, long-term record of what you have watched, played and want to remember.
There is more to watch and play than ever, but everything is scattered. Watchlists are spread across services, games are split between stores and consoles, and series quietly leave streaming platforms. MyCollectory exists to bring some order back to that, and to give you a library that becomes more valuable the longer you use it.
