These Terms explain the rules for using MyCollectory.
MyCollectory is operated by Aivion Studios in the Netherlands. By creating an account, browsing the platform or using any feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use MyCollectory.
1. About MyCollectory
MyCollectory is a personal media library and discovery platform for movies, series, documentaries and games. You can browse titles, create an account, track what you watch or play, rate titles, build lists and collections, follow profiles, share selected activity and request titles for the catalog. MyCollectory is an evolving service, so features may change, improve, be added or be removed over time.

3. Your account
To use certain features, you may need an account. You agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You keep your login details safe.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You will not share your account with others.
- You will not register using bots, scripts or automated tools.
- You will not impersonate another person, brand or organisation.
If you think your account has been accessed without permission, contact us as soon as you can.
4. Age requirements
You must be old enough to use online services and create an account under the laws that apply to you. Some parts of MyCollectory may include adult-rated sections or age-restricted areas. You may only open these sections if you meet the required age and confirm that you want to view that content.
You may not use MyCollectory to publish, share or request illegal sexual content, sexual content involving minors, or anything that exploits or harms minors.
5. Acceptable use
Use MyCollectory in a normal, lawful and respectful way. You may not:
- Use the platform for illegal purposes.
- Harass, threaten, abuse or target other users.
- Post hateful, defamatory, discriminatory or harmful content.
- Post sexually explicit content involving minors or any illegal sexual content.
- Upload or share malware, phishing, spam or scams.
- Try to access accounts, data or systems without permission.
- Disrupt, overload, scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use bots, automated tools or scripts without written permission.
- Reuse, mirror or redistribute the catalog at scale.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
6. Your content
You stay responsible for the content you create or publish, including lists, collections, reviews, comments, bulletins, profile information, uploaded text and title requests.
You keep ownership of what you create. By posting it to MyCollectory, you give Aivion Studios permission to host, store, display and distribute that content as needed to run the platform. If you make content public, other users may view, share or interact with it. You can remove your own content where the platform allows it, and when you delete content or your account, that permission ends, except where we need to keep limited information for security, legal or technical reasons.
7. Moderation
MyCollectory is meant to be a clean, useful and respectful platform. We may remove, hide, limit or edit content if we believe it breaks these Terms or the law, harms other users, infringes someone else's rights, creates security risks, or damages the quality or purpose of the platform. We are not required to check all content in advance, but we may act when needed.
8. Catalog data and third-party content
MyCollectory includes catalog information, images, trailers and other media from external sources. This may include data from The Movie Database for movies, series and documentaries, and IGDB for games, with trailers embedded from YouTube. All trademarks, titles, posters, images, trailers, descriptions and related materials remain the property of their respective owners, and MyCollectory does not claim ownership over third-party catalog content. Catalog data may sometimes be incomplete, outdated or unavailable, and we cannot guarantee that all of it is always accurate.
9. No commercial reuse of the catalog
MyCollectory is built for personal browsing, tracking, discovery and collection. You may not scrape, copy, mirror, redistribute, resell or commercially reuse the catalog or large parts of the platform without written permission from Aivion Studios. This includes automated extraction, large-scale copying, database replication and using MyCollectory as a source for competing services.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep MyCollectory available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it is always online, error-free or uninterrupted. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, security issues or technical problems, and we may change, rename, add or remove features at any time. Where reasonable, we announce important changes on the platform.
11. Beta and evolving features
MyCollectory may include beta or early-access features that are still being improved. These can change more often than stable parts of the platform and may contain bugs or temporary limitations. By using them, you accept that the experience may change over time.
12. Account suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time where that option is available in your settings. We may suspend, restrict or end your account if you break these Terms, misuse the platform, create a security risk, expose MyCollectory or others to legal risk, stay inactive for a long period, or where the law requires it. Depending on the situation, we may or may not give notice first.
13. Privacy
Your use of MyCollectory is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. By using MyCollectory, you accept that your data is processed as described there.
14. Intellectual property
MyCollectory, including its name, branding, design, layout, original text and platform features, belongs to Aivion Studios unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute or create derivative works from these original materials without written permission, except where the law allows it. Third-party content stays owned by the relevant rights holders.
15. Disclaimer
MyCollectory is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the platform is always online, that the catalog is always complete or accurate, that every trailer or image works, that the service meets every expectation, or that bugs never happen. You use MyCollectory at your own discretion.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Aivion Studios is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profit, loss of reputation, service interruptions, catalog errors, unavailable third-party content or damage caused by misuse of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under Dutch or European consumer law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make important changes, we update the date on this page and, where it makes sense, announce the change on the platform. Continued use after a change is published means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer rules give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
