Corazón de obsidiana (2025)

An immersive journey that reveals the intimate connection between everyday life and the landscapes of two majestic mountains within Pico de Orizaba National Park, one of which is the highest in Mexico. Through intertwined fragments, the documentary takes us from dense forests to moors and a dying glacier. The stories are interwoven: communities that depend on the forest for their livelihood, scientists seeking to unravel the mysteries of the universe, and mountaineers facing the challenges of tourism. All this against a backdrop of institutional neglect and a culture that continues to devastate natural resources.
