The protagonists, Raul, Agustin, and Jose, are immigrant workers who arrived seeking opportunities to support their families back home. As the story unfolds, a crucial fourth protagonist joins in helping address the challenges these laborers face: Luis. With his experience as a long-time day laborer, Luis shows the three protagonists the paths they can take to avoid becoming victims of crime.
