Displacement and Replacement: A Remixed Narrative of Western Australia (2026)
In this accumulating remix of 12 films (commissioned by the state of Western Australia in the 1960s and 70s) in 12 chapters phrases from the film’s original narration have been pulled on to highlight the ideological and material violence of the colonial project — unfolding through the banality of things like roads, railways, mines, agriculture, farming and the weaponisation of things we commonly hold dear, like “community” and “home”.
