A Bad Day for Robert is a modern slasher-horror film exploring rejection, grief, and the consequences of ignoring the past. Set in a present-day suburban world, a child is gifted a handmade ceramic doll named Robert—an object completely out of place in a generation raised on screens and disposable entertainment. Met with ridicule, mistreatment, and eventual abandonment, the doll silently absorbs the cruelty directed toward him, and something within begins to change. Unbeknownst to the family, Robert carries a dark history tied to generations of obsession and suffering. As his origins are gradually revealed, past and present collide in violent ways. What begins as a child’s careless rejection escalates into a relentless wave of slasher-style revenge, as the once-docile doll returns, no longer willing to be forgotten.
