I WISH I WAS A FLOWER

Rin is a young woman struggling to navigate life within the rigid norms of a capitalist society, the growing distance of her family, and the overwhelming noise of the world around her. As the silence of those who are unseen and unheard continues to be ignored, the seemingly ordinary world begins to reveal the social structures that confine certain individuals to lives of isolation, leaving them with only a few fragile choices. Once like a small flower, Rin slowly becomes the product of a failing family institution and a broken social system. A quiet reflection of a society that allows delicate lives to wither away unnoticed.
