In the northeastern part of Japan, the Kuromori Kagura Troupe has been visiting the villages of Iwate Prefecture for more than 340 years, providing repose for the souls of the deceased and encouragement for the living. This film takes us on a fascinating journey into a country where gods, spirits, and demons still roam.
