After a breakup, Matei returns Ioana's remaining belongings and discovers her new activity—swimming lessons—which she teaches at her home, undeterred by the lack of pools or other bodies of water in the city. In the middle of the lesson, Ioana tells Matei about her new life and the people in it: the three elderly students she teaches, Ina, Silvia, and Ion.
