臺灣的餐廳大廚來到越南，愛上了路邊小吃攤的涼拌木瓜絲，吃著吃著……大廚與小吃攤的廚娘間，也像加了魚露的木瓜絲一樣產生了美味的化學變化…… 美麗的廚娘跟著大廚來到臺灣，加入新家庭的生活。然而廚房是女人的戰場，當擅長客家料理的傳統婆婆遇上語言不通的越南媳婦，就像涼拌木瓜絲對上了客家小炒，兩種都愛的大廚該如何取捨？關乎面子的廚藝比賽，不善表達的二廚加上彆扭的小姑，一場料理的對決就在廚房裡熱鬧展開.......
