The Gevatron: The Israeli Kibbutz Singers

Celebrating their 55th anniversary, Israeli kibbutz folk chorale the Gevatron delivers a dynamic performance -- featuring such tunes as "Zemer" and "Halleluiah" -- before enthusiastic fans in Jerusalem and on the Sea of Galilee coast. Working in the fields by day and using their evenings to create music, the group has assembled a repertoire that includes folk, pop and ethnic songs. Archival footage of kibbutz life is included.
