Kaiden Nair is an American Indian artist and activist. He began working with filming, editing, and acting with his High School's media news platform (Pride News) that would air 10-minute episodes weekly. He would contribute with his own segments, operating under his "production team" titled "Limelight Productions." He hosted and created interviews with members of his school's cross country and track teams, with shows being titled "Cross Country Corner" and "Track Talk" respectively, even being uploaded to the teams' Instagram pages and Limelight Productions YouTube channel. He then collaborated with his friends Ben Hoette and Anthony Livia on a comedy series, "The Consumer's Guide to Walmart/Target Economics," which culminated in his filmmaking debut, "Store Wars," episodes one and two. He worked on many other bits and short segments with his friend Cameron Parker for the next two year leading to graduation. Kaiden has received the Essence of Positive Peer Influence award twice for his work and contributions to Pride News that helped foster and unite his school community. He's currently pursuing a degree in psychology at Saint Louis University, where he returned to his craftsmanship with "A Neighborly Visit," a multimodal project for his English class, where he adapts Mister Rogers Neighborhood for the modern day to inspire hope and love among today's darkness.
