Backrooms

The series starts off with a young filmmaker named Kane falling into the Backrooms, where he records his findings and even encounters with an unknown lifeform. Further episodes mostly revolve around the Async Research Institute and their tests of the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System, which was intended to create a gateway to a seemingly infinite plane of existence. They successfully made first contact with the Backrooms on their sixth test of the machine. Over the upcoming months, expedition teams were sent out into the complex. At first, things seemed to go as planned; though, major complications would start to arise as Async progressed through the project.
