Alongside the site, MyCollectory is being built as a real Android app. It is not in the Play Store yet, but it already runs on a test phone every day.
What it is
The app is a thin shell over this same site, which means everything you see here is in the app the moment it ships, with no waiting for a store update. What the shell adds is the part a browser cannot do: a proper tab bar at the bottom, a splash screen, a home-screen icon, and a short buzz when you check something in.
What is left
Plenty. The feedback when you tap wants tuning, several screens still need to feel less like a web page and more like an app, and there is a release build and store listing to prepare before it can be installed the normal way.
It is being worked on daily. When it is ready for other people to try, you will read it here first.
