This is the biggest change since MyCollectory opened. The whole site has been redrawn: lighter, faster, and built around the one thing it is for: ticking off what you have watched and played.

A new look, everywhere
One typeface, one accent colour and a lot more air. Every page was redrawn, from the catalogue to your own library, and it is built mobile-first, so the phone is not an afterthought any more.
Your own few lines
Say what you thought of something in a couple of sentences, with a reaction if a word will not do. Yours sits at the top of the takes on that title.
Dark mode, and now an auto that means it
The switch in the header and the phone menu has a third stop: light, dark, or auto. Auto does not just copy your phone's own schedule, it works out the real sunrise and sunset where you are and switches to match. It asks for your location to do that, but only if you turn auto on, and that location never reaches our servers: “The coordinates are processed on your own device and stored only in your browser's or app's local storage… We do not send your location to MyCollectory's servers.” See the Privacy Policy for the full section on what it uses this for.
Your library, and your friends’
The library now carries the timeline: where you left off, and what the people you follow have been watching, on one page.
Cast and crew, properly
A person's page shows when they were born, where, and everything of theirs in the catalogue. Click a face on a title page to go there, or the eye for a quick look without leaving.
Browse by genre
Every genre in one wall at /genres. Genres used to be reachable only as a chip on a title page.
Search that finds things
Hyphenated titles work again (X-Men, Spider-Man) and the box no longer stalls on common words.

Work continues over the coming days and weeks. Expect more polish, more of the app, and fixes as they are found. If something looks wrong or reads oddly, tell us. A good few of the changes above started as exactly that.
